At the beginning of her journey, Lisette created the “Work Together Anywhere” workshop which has been in high demand ever since. When the number of requests became too high for one person to handle, she gathered a team of facilitators who could deliver this workshop along with her. But working with a team meant that she needed a way to manage it - see where everyone is at, coordinate a schedule, and keep an eye on statistics.
Lisette turned to Workshop Butler to create a network of facilitators licensed to run her workshop. Each of them could create their events independently from their own accounts. And Lisette was able to monitor information about all events and about the state of licenses as a coordinator. Many tasks like sending notifications and certificates or displaying new events on a website were conducted automatically, while those tasks that require configuration were streamlined and didn’t take much time.
One thing I knew that I did not want is I didn't want to wake up in six, seven years and be in an office with 20 employees. Because it's a whole new level of stress. People tend to equate success with size of business. That’s not my view. Companies that pursue growth for the sake of status, or solely for profit end up having to hire people like me to fix their broken culture eventually. I wanted to keep it small and nimble, keep providing value, but just give it a different feel.
Lisette Sutherland • Director of Collaboration Superpowers
With all processes in place, Collaboration Superpowers has been sailing smoothly for several years. Unlike many other businesses, the pandemic gave them a huge boost. Organizations across the world were suddenly in desperate need of someone who knows how to work remotely. And Collaboration Superpowers were already experts in this field. But rising demand also meant that more and more facilitators were joining and the scale of operations was growing breathtakingly fast.
Luckily, Lisette and her team already had the flow set with Workshop Butler. New facilitators went through the same pattern as their colleagues before them - got their accounts in WSB created and spent some time learning their way around the system. Since WSB offers an all-in-one solution, a coordinator needed to set up only one account for all operations for each new person.
All of a sudden I had a team of seventy facilitators and we were up and running. I would say that having those systems in place, even though we didn't have a lot of facilitators at first, getting those systems in place - that was the key.

Between March and December 2020, Collaboration Superpowers network shot from 12 to 70 facilitators. And Lisette continued managing it without significant increase in staff, bringing in just a part-time accountant and technical specialists.
Led by passion and experience, Collaboration Superpowers keeps teaching the world how to work efficiently from anywhere, and Workshop Butler keeps supporting them in their mission.
Workshop Butler has allowed me to scale my company without hiring anyone. This tool gives total autonomy to my workshop Facilitators while promoting a feeling of community at the same time.
